3gs not going into landscape mode after ios4 d/l

i have tried searching for this topic as I cant believe no one has mentioned it already, but can't find anything. If it's there I apologize and hope someone will give me a link.

after d/l IOS4, i lost my ability to go into landscape mode totally. Might I have messed up a command somewhere?

Help would be most appreciated.

Make sure the orientation lock isn't on. Double Click to get the list of running apps, scroll all the way to the left and you'll see the orientation sensor.
