SMS app gone after update

My SMS app button is gone from my iPhone Springboard. If I get a message I can hit reply and it opens and I can search and pull it up, how do I get the button back on the springboard? Any ideas?

Restore your iPhone. From back up first then as new if that doesn't fix it.
