    Alli, i called and they said if I was eligible, which i am then im good to go.

    I tried to preorder with at&t...HA, what a joke. Then tried all day long on apple.com. Later in the evening, I finally decided to try the Apple Store app on my iPod touch. It errored out a few times, but then it went though and let me reserve one. My soon to be sold BlackBerry 9700 dinged instantly with an email confirmation from Apple.

    I was skeptical about the reservation as I have never don anything like this. I called the store today and only gave my last name. She knew exactly what model I wanted (32GB) and confirmed my reservation will be held all day.

    My reservation shows:
    iPhone 4 32GB : Black

    It does not show any information about my rate plan. This must be due to the issue with at&t's system. I also questioned her about why the price showed 699. She stated that I will pay 299 once they are able to confirm my eligibility. I am eligible, so I have nothing to worry about....well unless at&t's activation servers go down.
