Reassign new iPhone (phone) numbers? Help please...

Hope this isn't too confusing. Have a 4 line family plan. All lines have different expiration dates, but two are eligible for subsidized upgrade. So, I want to order two new iPhones for home delivery. Will probably order from Apple as I trust their timely delivery more than ATT. Now the question.

When I get the phones, will I be able to switch the numbers these phones are registered under? Is this something I can do during the registration, or would I have to call or go into ATT?

Any help or guidance you can provide would be appreciated.

Whatever lines u upgrade is what numbers they'll have. If u need them to be for different numbers, you'll have to call AT&T once they are active and change imei and sim card numbers. Since the new iPhones use microsim cards, u can no longer just swap out sim cards. It can be done just gonna take some phone time on ur part.

You can probably just go to an AT&T store and they should be able to handle it.

On iPhone release day?!? He'll be there for HOURS. Easiest and quickest bet is over the phone.
