Hi

I have looked everywhere and i cant seem to find what has happened to the "Hold" option when in a call now it has been replaced by Facetime. Does anyone know if it still exists or if there is still a way to do this. I always use this feature and find it very useful.

Thanks for any help/answers

Ben

There will probably be some kind of gesture within another control to hold calls.

Either that or the might Jobs has decided that holding calls is evil, like pr0ns.

I noticed the same thing. I wonder if it's because if you add another call to merge, it will put them on hold while you connect. Or maybe the mute function is the same. Also, when another call comes in, don't you get an option to hold and answer? Good observation. While not related, I noticed that *3001#12345#* no longer goes into field test mode.

Not a big difference between hold and mute.

Hold = both parties can't hear each other
Mute = other party can't hear you

Personally, mute is more important.

Good point! But what if you're in the habit of telling people you've put them on hold, then they start talking shvt about you? Haha

Hold the mute button and it will hold the call.

It will mute both people just like the old hold button..
