What is in the "other" section on your phone?

What is inside it? Mine is like a gig and i cleaned out my email and text but its was about the same size. Is it like album art and other little things i haave 14gs of music and all of it has art. Just seeing if any one knew. Thanks

I don't know for sure, but I think it contains metadata and album art. 1 gig is quite a bit though.

My 3G has about 200MB and 3GS around 230MB. Wonder what are being stored at the "Other" section...

I believe this is where databases and misc stuff is stored for your applications ...

Things like your contacts, calendar, notes. If you're jailbroken it will be larger since that's where all the jailbreak stuff shows up.

Oh Ok cool thanks everyone. I have a jailbreak and like 650 contacts and 12 gs of music. Now I know will tip some scales =D
