3gs to go on sale ?

A short time ago I was watching (msnbc) ! They were talking about adding chips to cell phones to detect smoke ! I saw a poster from some store , sorry I do not know what store ! The poster read ( 3gs twice the speed at half the price ) ! I think this is something to come true when the 4th generation comes out in the next two months ! Did anyone else see this ? The story ran around Sunday morning around 10:45. am !
