Like 99% of digital photos, iPhone pictures are already date-stamped in their Exif Data.

Photo applications such as Aperture and Photoshop have facilities for viewing this info.

If you want the info on the pics in your iPhone, I wonder if it's occurred to you to check the App Store?

John T save Your attitude answer the question or dont. How Many photo apps do you think there are? 5000 15000? And what whould i search for? "Photo" where 99 pages of apps pop up. Or maybe "date stamp" where nothing of any use pops up? Why does everyone have to be a smarta$$? First thing i said was
"is there an app for that?"
"You = Aperture and Photoshop have facilities for viewing this info
Me = Thanks man that what i was looking for =)"

Is there an app for [date-time stamping]?
FYI, the TimeStamp-It Lite app is free and it seems pretty good.

Yes I agree it would be nice, and I have found nothing yet. "Koredoko" are close, but not good. "Timestamp" are for new photos, not old.

Most cameras show the date in its display, not iphone! I know the time are there, it shows on my computer. But not on iphone. Its OK to know where a picture is taken, but what about when?!

im right there with you how about an app that reads the meta data im sure one of these many camera apps can put that in all i wanted to know was when a pic was taken at a glance not having to upload it to my comp to see it.

I just released a free and ad free app that taps into all of your existing photos to show you the date they were taken. There's a cool feature where you can quickly scroll through your camera roll and see the Month, Year automatically change as you scroll. If you are interested its called 'Photo Date' so just search that in the app store.
