HELP!!! Ribbon Broke Replacing Screen

HELP!!!

Well, I was following everything step by step trying to replace a broken screen and little did I realize, the home button is not part of the screen and during the removal process, I broke the ribbon that goes to the home screen.

Now, I have a phone in several parts. I could order the mid frame but the LCD does have slight damage and the audio jack no longer works.

I do not want to pay $199 but I am going to. My question is, will Apple even accept it since it is in parts? I have an Apple store an hour away and will go tomorrow.

I took mine in with the whole screen assembly off, they didn't care as long as I paid!

Yeah, mine will be in parts. The cable in the ribbon is so small that I can not sodder a connection or anything to get it to work.

Hopefully their will not be any issues.
