Hello All. First time posting and novice to IPhone.
Can you please help me? I have purchased and downloaded ringtone albums on both my Iphone and desktop ITunes. Both albums are in the music section, and I can not transfer in to the Ringtones section on either my Iphone or desktop. I am in Australia if that matters.
What am I doing wrong?

you have to pay an extra .99 cents and convert it to a ringtone in iTunes,

right click a song and select create ringtone, then choose up to a 30 second segment of the song for your unique ringtone

Hi, i actually purchased them as Ringtones, under Ringtones in the ITunes Store. They are classified as Ringtones in the Music section of ITunes

So, if I buy Ringtones albums, i have to pay again to make them Ringtones on my IPhone and convert them to Ringtones?
Sounds crazy, but will give it a try later. Thanks for your help.

No luck. When I right click and select Create Ringtone, it comes up with an error 11556. I changed my location to USA and whilst no error, still does not allow me to transfer from music folder to ringtones folder.
Has anyone else got any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks

Try to find the file on your computer and rename it so the extension is .m4r instead of .m4a. Add it to iTunes and it should show up in your ringtones section.
