problem with my 3gs

hi guys

my friend gave me an iphone and i restore it through itunes to 3.1.3 firmware
and i have abroblem.
after the restore is finis'ed it want's me to input a simcard.
i installing my sim which i bouth at at&t store and when i'am starting to work whit it it's shutting down it self and when i trying to turn it on again he show's me the battery is low even if i charg'ed it for wholl night.
it's importent to mension that if i'am not installing the simcard after the restore and i livin it on the emergency calls screen it seem's to be okay:
-the battery is full
-it's not shutting down it's self

the problem appearing only when ia'm startting to work with it.
there is an option that apple block'ed the iphone or something like that??

sounds like it's time to call AT&T or Apple. It's not normal for a sim card to shut the device off.

i bought it unlocked and i installed diffrent sim an israeli one and i had the same problem.
becuse of it i restore it to 3.1.3 and i went to at&t to buy simcard but the sim is prepaid it's not a long contrect if it's matters.
it's not there's fault and i can't call to apple beacuse the iphone is stolen.
maybe i'll need to wait for the new jailbreak for 3.1.3???

Since the iPhone is stolen, you need to return it AT&T so they can find the owner.
