I remember that one of AT&T's advertisement was to show that you can use the IPhone to make calls and use data at the same time (I.E 3G Service)

i find that in 90% of the times, as soon as i make/receive phone call my phone switches its service from 3G down to EDGE/GPRS. and then after finishing the phone call it will take the phone 30-60 Sec to go back to 3G service.

Is that something that you all experience? or is it just my phone ?

i just don't get why the phone will do that if i have 5 bars of 3G service...

Funny thing

But i am actually a Vodafone UK user :)

i Called VF and they said its down to the phone.

I am surprised because VF UK is one of the best 3G network's in the world...

Has never happened to me honestly. I'd give AT&T a call if the problem persists or even try restoring my phone back to new.

you mentioned AT&T, not Vodaphone in your original post.

I would backup your phone and try restoring it as new.
