have some mistery problems with my iphone 2g

hello my name is Costel and i am the new happy member with an iphone 2G 8g.I get my iphone from a friend and as a new owner i wanted to make it cleaner so i used the option with the genral reset...and problems appeard...i used it like some 30 hours ago..and now i look at it..and see an apple withe and a small circle that is there..and after 10-15 minutes it resets and do this things again and again...so may i ask if my iphone will becane what was once?or shell i go to a pro and resofted it?please i am so disperate that i dont know if my iphone will be again what was some time ago...thank u for ur attention
