2g problem,turns itself of.

Hi,
1st time poster here,thanks for any help.

My daughter and I both have 2g's which I purchased around June 2009,I got hers of Ebay. Over the past two weeks her phone has been turning itself off maybe 3-4 times a day.It is unlocked and jailbroken and had os3.0 installed and the battery has been fine.I sent it of for repair and had it updated to 3.2,new battery and unlocked/jailbroken. I received it back on Tuesday and all has been OK untill 20 minutes ago when my daughter said it had turned itself of twice today ! When I mentioned this to the repairer he said that the only other thing that could be the problem is a replacement mother board but this would cost around ?200 ! Can anyone offer any assistance please ?

Sounds like age is catching up to that device. Unfortunately if you just had it serviced there is not much else you can do. Perhaps the battery they installed is bad.
