Notes recovery - help request

My notes appear to have been cleared out.
I didnt change the sync settings (unless inadvertently) and have tried to restore from previous back up with no luck...are they recoverable directly from a pathname/backdoor or lost forever?

If you haven't synced them to Outlook, you're out of luck..

The notes are not stored in the backup, they're pulled from the sync

if they're not on your computer then they're gone
