Too many redirects in safari

Hi,

I have an iPhone 3g 16GB with FW 3.1.2 and BB 04.26.08 jealbroken with pwnage tool. Whenever another app or a weblink tries to redirect me to either appstore or itunes store via the apple phobos server and safari, I get the error message: "Cannot Open Page Safari cannot open the page because too many redirects occured".
Is this a common problem with jailbroken iphones? What to do about this?

I don't know about iTunes & the AppStore however I have experienced this problem streaming video both on an un-jailbroken & jailbroken phone.

It's the cydia addon categories!
Not if you have installe categories following problem can be caused:
- if you hide youtube app or put it into folder, it will automatically turn on content restriction and thus won't work in safari and as app
- if you have itunes or appstore in a folder or hidden this will cause all links which are supposed to be open with either of them, to be opened with safari giving you the error described above....

^^ What he said. I had this exact same problem. As soon as I took the appstore out of a category everything worked fine. Now the appstore stays on my home screen.
