I've noticed ever since I got my iPhone i've heard the phrase "Talk & Surf" (in other variations too) but I've never been able to actually do it, unless I'm on a wifi network. I'm not sure why this is. Is it only me? Must I have 3G service? (I have the iPhone 3G minus the actual coverage/service unless I travel 300 miles so I'm left with edge/wifi) Does anyone else suffer from this?Or is this something on AT&Ts end? I would much rather NOT have it on their end seeing as their telling the world they can do this. Any help would be awesome now, thanks.

GSM does not allow that

the 3g CDMA data tech used with GSM does

this fact has been heavily publicized around the time the 3g model came out.

Okay. Thanks for the help! Much appreciated. I will be driving thru the Minneapolis/St. Paul area tomorrow so I'll be able to try that out for probably the first time!
