    Default My Icons Have Changed???

Ok, I've got a weird situation. I recently downloaded a Free Bible application to my phone. No problems, it works great but I've been reading how many folks do a soft-reset on their phone periodically to keep things running smoothe. I've had my 3GS since July and have downloaded a handful of apps so I figured it might be time to do one myself.

I did a soft-reset and then charged my phone. Pulled it off the next morning and everything is working fine however, five of my icons have now changed. All of the apps still work but my Bible app is now my Slacker app icon. My card-game app is now my Facebook icon?

When I think back, the icons that changed are the most recent apps that I have downloaded since the last time I synced my phone to my computer.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might have happened? Is there a way to get the icons corrected?

Thanks in advance for your help!!

I haven't had this problem since I upgraded to OS 3.1.2. Give that a go first. This same problem use to happen to me all the time.

As big9erfan stated, that WAS an issue.

I'm going to assume you are on an older version of the firmware. You can find this out by going to Settings --> General ---> About, and then look at what version you have.

Mine says 3.1.2, which is the newest. I'm going to bet yours says either 3.0 or 3.0.1 - I believe that issue was fixed in 3.1.

Are you unlocked or jailbroken? You'll have to rejailbreak and unlock after upgrading, but if you're not, just open iTunes after you plug in your phone and update your firmware. It'll fix the issue.
