Sync iphone contacts to outlook

I use outlook to keep my calander, contacts etc. My outlook runs on a PC.
I can no longer sync my phone contacts with the contacts on outlook. I have 43 contacts on my outlook and 150 on my phone. The calander syncs fully. What steps should I take to get outlook and my iphone working together again.

Do you have the sync contacts box checked ? Are you sync contacts with another program like mobile me or gmail ?

If you are on outlook 2007 then you should know that Outlook 2007 will not sync unless Outlook is the default program. If it is not a problem then reset your iPhone and try the steps given in the link below.
