burn in your screen? if i get one, and leave it on at night as my clock, will it eventually burn my screen in like a computer? or is the iphone not prone to this?:confused:

i think if u leave it on long enough on any electronics with a glass screen, it will eventually burn in...

Just a suggestion...why not invest in an alarm clock?

lol, i have one, but with my bold, when i charged, the clock popped up. i bought an app for the iphone that was similar, but was worried about the screen since it wasnt default behavior for the phone to show it.

computer screens haven't had a burn in issue for over a decade

That's not exactly true. While it can't be called actual "burn in," LCDs do suffer from ghost images that give the appearance of burn in. I have a 21" ViewSonic LCD as a secondary monitor that has the upper left corner of an Explorer window "burned" in to the display.

OP check out weather clock its a free alarm weather app and it allows you to dim the background so there is no Burn in
