If the iPhone didn't exist, what phone would you be using?

I'm curious as to what phones people would be using if our beloved iPhone never existed.

I would most likely be using an android phone because I love touchscreen's aswell as downloading apps. My second choice would be a blackberry, preferably the Bold.

What about you?

I don't know what I would use. A web-OS enabled phone probably. The Pixi sounds nice.....minus the no wi-fi. However since the iPhone came out in 2007, I would probably still be using my T-Mobile Dash.

I would probably be using some crappy flip phone like I was using before I had the iPhone. I didn't know any different.

I don't know, I had a Tmobile Dash before the iPhone that I liked. Maybe a new WinMo phone or Android I'd say.

It would have to be some kind of touchscreen phone. The HTC Hero is what I'd be using if there was no iPhone.

There are about 30 BB users at my work. Most of them have had one issue or another with the hardware. The most common issue has been the keyboard. Some have totally failed while others have buttons that stick or stopped working. I'm sour on RIM. I would use my old Moto Razr V3 over a BB any day of the week.

Probably a sidekick since most of the other phones wouldn't exist either if it wasn't for the iPhone's technology.

Probably a Blackberry, that is what I had before the iPhone. I didn't use it much for web though comparitively.

I'd probably still be on my Moto Razr2, or V9, or whatever the newer one was. I love that phone. It was great.

If iphone didn't exist, then i'm not sure what else would either. Would've kept my Centro a lot longer is all i know..

I would probably go with the Treo Pro. But then again that may not have lasted long as in the 5 years i have had cell phone service I probably have had 45 phones.

My 2nd phone is a Touch Diamond 2. The hardware is unbelievably good. Windows mobile 6.5 is less than stellar though. Nonetheless, it is my backup phone, so without the iPhone...it would be my primary. (Android? RIM? Feh.)

Instead of the iPhone, the Bold. I would of been convinced by all my peers that sharing our PINs would be cool.

I'd probably be using anything LG like the Voyager or the Envy. I take a lot of pics and LG does a great job of integrating quality lenses. I also like the full keyboard option. As a former Blackberry owner and salesman, i never really liked the browser so I feel that one doesn't have to own a blackberry when we can simply get by on any old full qwerty keyboard. As hard as they try, no manufacturer has been able to make a competitive phone browser yet. Nothing comes close to the iphone's browsing capabilities. Try downloading copies of your processed checks from your online bank account on your blackberry! Without the iPhone, everything else in Internet browsing is primitive. And to think some may argue the iPhone is not a smartphone but rather a toy, I think it's beyond a smartphone unless someone can prove me wrong and point out the reasons why.

I would be using the phone I had before my 2G Motorolla Ming. It had everything the Iphone has less Wifi just at a lower technological level. I would have considered the pré but then think it's too flimsy. I don't really like HTC but the one my cousin has looks pretty sweet.
