I am using a jailbroken iPhone 2g/3.0 update/Airtel in Pune, maharshtra and it has been working fine without any problems for more than a year now. I realized during my visit to delhi that I couldnt make any outgoing calls from my iPhone. The moment I would try to dial a no, it would fail, like the phone did not like making any calls. However, I could send sms's and receive calls.
I realised that there was no problem with my SIM, but somehow a problem with the phone only. If I used a Delhi SIM in my phone, IT DID NOT WORK! I ended up concluding that it works only within the Maharshtra network.
Any ideas why this could be happening?
