Mail on Server issues since 3.1

Good evening,
I was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion for this frustrating problem with mail. My main account is a POP account and its set up to "Delete from server when removed from inbox". Since updating to 3.1 none of my mail is being removed from the server. I have deleted the account and started over and still no joy. Has anyone else experienced this and is this the result of the 3.1 upgrade or is something else going on?

I just posted this same issue. No one has replied meaning no one has a fix??

I have tried deleting the account, turning it on and off, changed some settings and I am not any closer to a resolution. On one hand I am glad to see that its not just happening to me but am equally frustrated by this not working.
