Iphone upgrade help.

Ok, my girlfriend has recently bought a 3GS and is on my plan. I have updated to the new 3.1 os with my itunes account. I wanted to know if it is possible to update her 3G with 3.01 OS to the 3.1 OS on my computer. I'm sure there is a way, i just havent found out how yet. Any help would be great. Thank you

I meant to say that she has the 3G not the 3GS. sorry for the confusion.

You can update her OS. If she has the iPhone synced with her computer, all of her information will be erased and not be synced until she syncs it with her computer.
