ONLY MMS for 3.1??

Is that right? I've seen people on this forum saying that they've gotten MMS to work with 3.0, but when I plug my phone into my computer the only update it prompts me to do is the 3.1 update. Since I'm trying to save updating 3.1 for when there's a jailbreak, am I out of luck for MMS? This is frustrating

Actually, it's not, there's just an SSL issue with the site. The non-secure link works fine...

This is SO simple
1.download the ATT_US.ipcc file save it to your desktop
2.hold shift while you hit update in Itunes and find the ATT_US.ipcc file from your desktop.
3.It will say Updating Iphone Carrier. takes about 5-10 seconds.
4.turn your phone off and back on. Should have tethering and MMS.

AT least I did and still do. Ive been MMS'ing like this since the 3.0FW was released...

Unfortunately with OS 3.1 Jailbreak isn't even an option for you unless you downgrade to 3.0 first.

I did the shift&update several weeks ago and got carrier file 5.1 and MMS worked great. A few days after MMS was officially released my MMS quit working and I'd get the red excla... I shift&updated again to get carrier file 5.5--still no MMS. Any ideas?
