Battery Charge Icon

When I have my iphone 3g plugged in and using it, it shows the charging symbol on the top right. After using it a little while charging, the icon on the top right will show the fully charged symbol. The problem is its not fully charged, if you unplug it, it shows that its not fully charged. Anyone know why it does this and how to fix it?

The battery indicator is not fully accurate it does need to refresh so it may show 100% but if you're using it while it's charging it can't charge up as fast. If you unplug it right after you just finished using it then it's probably not fully charged. How about when you plug it in to charge leave it alone and it shows full charge? is there a discrepancy once you unplug it?

I got the same problem with my last sony ericsson. Finally i needed to re install the operating system. I do not know about your one. But I suggest you to create a backup file and reinstall again.

Let the phone fully discharge and the charge it over night. This should reset the battery meter
