3.1 problem - Apps crashing

I just installed 3.1 and all of my downloaded apps just close as soon as I open them...I'm able to open the apps that came on the phone originally like stocks, maps etc. but everything else when I try to open just goes right back to the springboard. Tried to reset and that didn't seem to work - any ideas or do I have to restore?

Nevermind - figured it out...didnt have my computer authorized so it wasn't transferring the apps back over when syncing.
