The ? is to upgrade or not???

That is the basic ? for a newbie like me, who knows not what teethering even means. Since I don't know what it is should I care? Also I don't mind resetting my special ringers, don't have many that I put to special . I've read that it seems to help the heat & battery issue.

For me, I'm waiting for the jailbreak and to make sure it will work with my hosted exchange (sherweb).

I use LockCalendar and SBSettings multiple times a day and I don't want to be without it again. So I have to jailbreak. Oh and I just recently became turned on by biteSMS. It's pretty cool.

will NOT uprade to 3.1 until a jailbreak is released. like hotrod said and cant be without my gruppled lockscreen or SBSettings. It just wouldn't feel right! If you are not worried about jailbreaking however, I would just go ahead and do the update. At least you will be able to use the cool iTunes App Organization feature if you've downloaded iTunes 9.

You cannot downgrade 3.1
