touch sensitivity

i find the touch feature too sesitive on my brand new 3gs.

is there a way to adjust ?

I would suggest that once you keep playing with it, rather then pressing more slide your finger, once you highlight what you want then lift and remove your finger from the screen. Just pressing can lead to more accidents
