    Default Problem with wi-fi...

my iPhone 3G won't recognize networks after getting the 3.0 update (& 3.0.1). I've tried everything including a restore.

After doing some searching on the internet, it seems to be an issue with some people. Any idea how I can get this resolved?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Did you restore from a backup, or as new?

That was my next step if I can't fix it. It's no longer under warranty, but hopefully, they'll be willing to give me a new one if they can't solve the problem. Not sure if they'll do that, though.

WTH? I did a new restore, but it shows I still have 3.0.1. How is this possible? I'm confused, LOL.

Because thats the file that the phone downloads from iTunes. Its not going to restore to the OS that the phone came with over a year ago its going to download the latest and restore as new from there.
