iPod controls on lock screen

I was applying my screen new protector and I looked and BLAMMO the iPod music controls were on the lock screeen!

How did I do that? What are the steps to do that again?

DUH figured it out.

on the lockscreen click the home button twice while you have the pause play signs by the battery thing.

Didto to what live free said. you must have your home button set for ipod controls under settings. You can actually do the double tap on almost any screen and pull up the ipod controls. I love this feature, especially when i'm driving and listening to the ipod through my stero.

I could not agree more. This feature is PERFECT for when I'm driving. I don't even have to look at my screen to be able to skip to the next song when a song I'm not in the mood for comes on.
