Launch Date? or Wait?!

If you read throughout the forums you hear of a lot of people with phones that have problems with them, that most others don't. Sometimes the sim card is bad, certain chargers won't work, ect.

Do you think it's safer to buy a new product, iPhone 3Gs, on release date; or just wait a month or so after to ensure quality. Both have pros and cons.

Well I got an iPhone and iPhone 3G right at launch and had to replace both within a month. Went through another iPhone and still have the same 3G. However the sleep/wake button is almost totally sunken in now so I am probably gonna see if Apple will exchange it since my warranty is up in like a week.

I got my 3GS on launch day and have had absolutely no problems!!!!

well i did pre order, i just hope nothing messes up after 30 days, or i will be infuriated lol

Apple will replace it after 30 days because comes with a one year warrenty.
