I can appreicate how stressful it is to have your iPhone broken. Not to worry.
There are two good suggestions in the thread. Use them in the order offered.
If all else fails, take your iPhone to the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple Store. It helps to make an appointment on line before you go.
The Genius will recognize you and your phone from a small amount of data. He will also have access to the warranty status of the phone. Based upon the warranty status and his diagnosis, he will offer you the best remedy.
May be a good occasion to upgrade your phone. Keep in mind that most of the cost of the phone is the carrier plan and most of the value is in your data and apps, easily recovered from iTunes.
