Exactly same?

So I'm still waiting on my 3Gs from direct fulfillment and am just wondering whether it actually says 3Gs on the back of the new phone or if apple got cheap and wanted to get rid of there remaining old 3G unused back plastic pieces.. Is there anyway to tell if its a 3Gs from looking at it?

it looks exactly the same. If anything , the mic, speakers and screws look like they are deeper in the case.

The lettering on the back of the 3G S is shiny, while the lettering on the 3G is not. It also has a different model number and FCC ID. Also, "3Gs" is the plural of 3G. "3G S" is the new model of the iPhone.

The only difference visibly is the "iPhone" and GB text on the back are silver like the apple logo on the back of a 3G.
