Please help...

This morning i checked my iphone to find out that i had the screen indicating me to connect to itunes. When I did I received the error message stating that my current iphone software has expired. I was running the 3.0 software prior to this. I attempted to update my iphone but received the message that there were no updates available.

Any suggestions??
