iPhone 3G (Beta5) Problem Upgrading

Hey:

I'm having problems upgrading my iPhone 3G from Beta5 to the Official Release. It keeps on telling me that the resources are not there.

The thing is, I downloaded and upgraded my wife's iPhone 3G (from 2.2.1) perfectly, with zero problems.

POINT IN CASE: The damned official release has been downloaded already!!! It works on a second iPhone. Why wont it work on the one running Beta5??

And P.S. - I also DID try to use the "Restore" button, the thing is, it keeps saying that the resources are not available when I do.

WHERE DOES ITUNES STORE THE OFFICIAL RELEASE?!?

If you have the GM beta 5, you don't need to do anything anyway. It's identical to the version released today.

I've heard that, but the "Gold Master", isn't that still technically a "beta"? For example, will it expire within a couple of weeks, like the previous betas, and lock me in "beta test" mode on my phone?

Do you know?

Also, if I'm having issues now, when the NEXT update comes along, won't I still need to "Shift+Update and direct it to the ipswthen too, because of the same problem??

There is no difference between the GM and today's release - the GM is not a beta.
