MMS settings can be changed?

I have been curious about this for a while. For those that will be taking the 3GS to T-Mobile (like me), is there an option in OS 3.0 to change MMS settings for other carriers?

Also, what I dont understand, maybe someone can clear it up for me, is that MMS works on every other phone on ATT. Why not the iPhone? Will there be problems getting MMS working successfully on other carriers? I guess I am confused as to how this MMS stuff works...

ah... the MMS issue is simple and easily fixed..

AT&T disabled MMS on the iphone accounts, since the pre-3.0 iphones do not have MMS... it was a FLAG in their system.

now, at&t needs to enable that flag, which they're doing for free...

not a conspiracy, plot, or plan to destroy the world... just an oversight or poor policy originally which was probably necessary if someone tried to send MMS to an iphone user...

I see. So it is only on ATT's side? Now that it is enabled in the firmware, other carriers should have it running instantly...while others have to wait for ATT?
