iPhone's iPod Function

the songs/music I've got on my iPhone repeat themselves when the song/music is ended. What can I do so when I use the Shuffle feature on the iPhone, once a song has ended, the iPhone's iPod function will move on and start another song randomly and not repeat the one just played?

When playing a song in iTunes (in portrait mode), if you can't see the bar that shows the progress of the song, tap the screen. Then make sure the loop on the left isn't blue. This is repeat. The crossing arrows on the right is shuffle, that should be blue, but the loop should be white.
