Hey folks,

I looked and looked, and couldn't find anything other than holding the Home button, along with the sleep/wake up button for 6-10 secs.

Yea, that's great for a reset when the iPhone freezes. However, I'm upgrading to a snow white 16 gigger. ;)

So how can I get to the factory default state. I run OS 2.2.1, and it IS jail-broken. I'd rather have the new owner not run into problems in case he needs helps at an Apple store. LOL

Thanks guys!!!

I think the only thing you can do is restore it with iTunes. Restore as new so it will wipe all your data off and be back to factory settings. Not sure how that will work though with a jailbroken iPhone.

Restore by re-flashing the firmware that came with the Jailbreak. Then sync it to iTunes and set it up as a new phone. It should overwrite the Jailbreak with the latest firmware. Otherwise all the Jailbreak files will be left in the file store as ghosts just eating up space.
