Cannot Sync iphone to webmail

Hi Anybody,

I am trying to sync my iphone to my webmail (exchange 2003 SP2). I am getting "the connection to the server failed." I tried using IMexchange and was able to connect to my webmail and sync my task and notes.
Please help.

Does your IT department allow Activesync connections?
