Hey
I have always had my iPhone (3G) synced to my Mac laptop, but am now migrating over to a windows PC and will hardly be using my Mac laptop anymore. I have already transfered all my music over to the PC so keep in mind that isn't an issue
When I hook my iPhone up to the PC it just comes up on the computer as though it was a camera
I am guessing if I do a full restore on the iPhone that I will be able to hook it up to the PC as a "new iphone", however I am guessing I will lose all my contact, txt conversations, and pictures (remembering music doesn't matter)?
So is there any way to get it to sync with my PC but keep most of the data that's on it?
Cheers in advance
Hayden
