Washing Machine and Iphone

Has anyone ever washed their iphone in the washing machine and had a working phone?

Cant say I have. I have heard stories of people dropping their iPhones into water and immediately grabbing it and it still aparently worked. I cant see it working after being dropped in a washing machine though.

Don't try charging it or connecting it to your pc until it has dried out for 3-4 days. Put it in a warm place and turn it off.

Also place the phone in a jar of dry rice to help dry it out. Because the rice will suck the water out of the phone.

If you need to clean it, use the dishwasher. I have herd it works good.
