Need help for charging...

Happened a few times today where I charged it and the plug symbol came up and when I unplugged it wasn't fully charged.

What can I do to help sort this out?

First reset your iPhone. Then run the battery all the way down until the phone shuts down. Then charge it all the way back up. This should reset the battery meter and fix it.
