APPS NOT WORKING! Help?

all of the app store apps that I downloaded are not working. I have restarted my iPhone several times but it doesn't work. ANY HELP??

Are you jailbroken? Are these pay apps or free ones?

No. I'm not jailbreaked. All my apps are free and the firmware is 2.2 and I haven't updated to the software. Help??
It's funny cuz I was about to jailbreak today but this happened.

Try downloading a free app from the app store via your computer and then sync. If that doesn't work, you might need to perform a restore.
