new iPhone not receiving SMS messages

I just picked up my iPhone on Sunday and am loving it so far. There is a problem though that I hope someone can help with. For some reason I am not receiving any txt messages and people are not receiving ones I send out. I get no errors when sending my own. It appears that they go through as normal.

I did jailbreak my phone on Monday but even before that I didn't receive any so while that could be an issue it's hard to say. I'm hoping someone here might be able to help. If not I assume I need to restore my phone before calling AT&T for assistance.

If you're not getting an error than I am thinking that text messaging is not a feature setup as part of you're plan.

Perhaps, and not unlikely, AT&T made a mistake and didn't place it as part of your plan?
