streaming video, slow streaming speed

Hi,
I have a been using WHS for approx 6 months, my main use of the server is to stream movies and music, problem is that last week my system slowed down and is no longer streaming only buffering.
Only thing that i can put this down to is my daughter has bought a IPhone which is connected to the network, will this slow down the signal transfer.
I have tried turning off the network connection on the phone and restarting the modem but no good.

Any ideas?

I don't believe the iPhone has any significant effects on the server unless it is downloading huge sums of data all the time.
