any way to lock at LOUD ringer ???

Seems like very time I go to General-Sounds .... the ringer volume is at the half-way point. I reset to max-Loud .... but when I later recheck it is always back again.

Am I missing something ???

Actually, every phone I have seen before has selectable preset "PROFILES" for indoors/quiet or "normal" ringer .... or "outdoor" (LOUD). These can usually be quickly and immediately accessed (set) for various (changing) environments; with only one or two button pushs.

Seems like on the iPhone, you have to multi-step into settings-general-sounds to reset ...

(not to mention my original problem where the phone seems to automatically reset itself back to mid-volume anyway)

Or am I just missing something ???

Update your firmware. Or do a restore. The only time the volume should reset to mid level is after a reset.
