Looks like they'll be an iTunes update as well.
It says under requirements: iTunes 7.7, the current version is 7.6.

Dang, still only a 2MP shooter.......taking a line from RIM on that one. They must be conspiring.

Gosh... the 2MP camera has me really depressed. I thought for sure that was going to be one of the major announcements... 5MP still with video option. In this day and age you would think we'd get more than 2MP! Considering Apple is so excited about 1) MobileMe's over-the-air photo album and 2) photo geotagging you would think we'd get a decent camera also...

I think a new memory upgrade / iPhone 3G refresh will occur sometime in February 2009. Apple unveiled the higher capacity iPhones in February 2008, when the original iPhone was released in June 2007.
