I don't mean to be picky... well, ok I do...

3G isn't a 2.x feature, it's a hardware feature. I don't think it should be included on the list.

A couple readers nominated it, so to be fair and inclusive, it snuck it. I'll just consider it the driver software for the 3G radio?

Tough choice. Went with Exchange support since that was one of the items that swayed me from picking up the first gen iPhone.

The App store is hands down the greatest feature of 2.x software. So much so that pretty much everyone else who wants to be in the smart phone game has already announced their own version.

The App store has completely changed the smart phone game and how people want to use their smart phones.

I still every day find myself just browsing the app store looking for the next great app to become a must have or make it onto my home screen.
