Lovely. Doesn't work in calls or for ringer. Going to try a restore.

My buddy had this issue the other day but it was up and down. He did a full restore from scratch and all is well.

Other buttons failing: volume up, ringer switch, sleep button. Tried a restore, nothing.

...then tried this: set ringer to silent. Nothing. Flexed the iPhone *very* slightly by pressing in the middle-rear of the phone: silent!

Hardware. Sigh.

Thank god I'm not the only one. How long ago did you start experiencing these problems? For me, it was on Thursday or Friday. My Up volume button works, but the Down Volume and the Ringer On/Ringer Off doesn't work. Do you guys have a 3G S, because that's what type of iPhone I have. I don't want to get a new iPhone. I heard that's one of the things you can do, but my iPhone is special to me.

I tried restoring (both by holding down the sleep/wake button and doing it from my computer), and no ****ing thing happens.

I'm new to these forums, and I only joined since I saw you guys know someone/are someone who are experiencing the same thing.
